great product, good price. make sure your monitor has can power the speaker, had to direct wire mine because the dell model monitor i have has the bracket attached for the speaker but not a place to plug in the power cord for the speaker.

I got this almost 5 years after getting the original Dell 19 inch monitor and it sure seems to add value to the original XP Media Center package. Its volume maximum is pretty low compared to the USB Logitech stand alone speakers I had been using, but it reduces desktop clutter tremendously! Excellent Simple Sound, By

If you have a Dell flat panel display and you want simple good sound for Windows sounds, music, Skype and online video streaming, get this. It removes a lot of desk clutter and the sound is good. It is not for somebody who wants deep bass and surround scound, but for me it is perfect. An added bonus is the two (yes TWO) earphone jacks on the end because I can plug in my Bose headphones if I want great sound … and if I wanted to share sound with somebody they can plug in too and we do not disturb others. |
